PERMISSION POST
Due to Nozomi's unique power set in-setting, please fill out the form below to let me know what you are comfortable with. I will consult your comment when and/or if the situation ever comes up where one of her powers is in use in order to determine whether or not it works, or to what capacity it may work.
BONDS OF FATE; Nozomi is able to sense the threads that tie people and pokemon together, and uses these in a way to "meddle." Oftentimes it's fairly harmless, such as trying to bring two people together and play matchmaker, or make sure that they at least meet. In the case that she may use one or both abilities, I will always reach out to you first before considering it to either ask questions or to make sure that I have your permission to post what I plan to post.
TAROT CARD; Nozomi is able to make somewhat vague predictions based upon her cards, which are an enhanced item. Through that, she may find out certain things about the character, although the details are left extremely open-ended. For example, if we had a Naoto Shirogane in-universe, she may be able to figure out that she has some kind of internal struggle, and that it might have something to do with personal identity, but not the nitty-gritty details about what that struggle may be.

BONDS OF FATE; I am all right with this working. People that she would see Nozomi tied to are Maya Fey (cousin), Jinxie Tenma (cousin), and Eri Ayase (mysterious stranger). Her thread is purple-gray in color, with a very faint glow to it. It isn't particularly thick or thin, but is somewhat unremarkable in appearance.
TAROT CARD; A strange loneliness and apprehension in certain things, but at the same time, a desire to reach out to others. Great spiritual power. Her card would be the The Empress (upright).

BONDS OF FATE; I'm all right with this working. Jinxie has quite a few threads representing her bonds with Pokemon, and as far as people, her closest bonds are with Maya Fey and Nozomi herself (cousins). She's also good friends with Rise, Melaka, and Quinn. Her thread is somewhat wispy-looking and pinkish in color.
TAROT CARD; Reliance on superstition and mystic tradition to guide everyday life and big decisions. Desire for structure, but set apart from others in its practice. Her card would be the upright Hermit.

BONDS OF FATE; I'm all right with this working. All of Squid Girl's most significant threads are with her own Water types, but she also likes Rise, Kaido, and Quinn. Her thread is blue like the ocean water.
TAROT CARD; Squid Girl has a lot of energy but frequently misapplies it, has an extremely poor sense of planning and problems following through, and is quick to jump to unfortunate conclusions that aren't entirely appropriate or called for. Her card would be the reversed Fool.

BONDS OF FATE; I'm all right with this working. Chie's closest bonds are with Rise, Kanji, and Morgiana. Rise and Kanji are friends, and Morgiana is someone she respects deeply and whose respect she wants to earn. She is also a member of the Swords of the Savior, and probably has some weak threads tying herself to them as well. Her thread is green, thick and solid.
TAROT CARD; Chie's entire existence revolves around training her body and spirit, constantly improving herself so that she can be both a better trainer and learn to protect the people and Pokemon she cares about. She is determined and always ready to fight the good fight. Her card would be the upright Chariot.

BONDS OF FATE; I'm all right with this working. Merrill's closest friendship threads at the moment are with Hawke and Anders. She also has a thread that, if followed, leads directly into an odd stone she carries around with her. On the other end of that thread is a dormant Spiritomb that she is currently sharing her soul with. This should probably raise all sorts of alarm bells on Nozomi's part. All of her other threads are frayed and lead outside of Union and across the horizon. Her threads are brown and earthy, but also with vague blood red tones throughout.
TAROT CARD; Merrill has quite literally sold her soul for knowledge and power to a being that is probably lying to her for its own benefit. She is utterly convinced that what she is doing is the right thing, even if she knows it's not necessarily a good thing, and she has made the choice to chain herself down. Her card is undeniably the upright Devil.

BONDS OF FATE; I'm all right with this working. Lenna's strongest thread is with her father, who is unfortunately currently missing in action. She also has a number of threads signifying her relationship to the other noble families of Union, and fairly strong ones having to do with her Dratini and Hoppip. Her threads are light blue in color, thin but strong.
TAROT CARD; Lenna is motivated by equal parts courage and compassion. She wants to help and protect others whenever possible, and is not afraid to speak her mind when confronting ideals she doesn't agree with. Her card is upright Strength.

BONDS OF FATE; Not too many at present, but she can poke away. Probably a few to the other Guards, and some faint and just forming ones that trail off outside the city. Dusky violet threads with hints of red, that look a little tattered.
TAROT CARD; Reversed Hierophant - he identifies strongly with the groups he's in, wants to seek knowledge, and believes himself to be doing the right thing - but at the same time, he's pushing the limits of what Union allows and its old way of life. She'll likely be able to tell that he's hiding things, that his loyalties aren't what they seem and suchlike.

TAROT CARD; Rise has something of a dual nature; she's acting all the time even when she thinks she isn't. She suppresses a good deal under exuberance and curiosity. Her card is the upright Lovers, of course.

TAROT CARD; Isabela is always blunt and open with what she thinks but seldom what she feels; she's prickly and strange partly because she was raised in a different culture but mostly because she doesn't want to get involved with anything beyond the immediate term. Her card would be the Wheel of Fortune - reversed right now but as far as I can tell there's no difference between reversed and upright.

BONDS OF FATE; It absolutely works, and very well, as Maya is a pillar of psychic energy she doesn't really have control over. Her closest bonds are Jinxie and Nozomi. Her threads are a ghastly purple and in some places look shadowed over or dim.
EDIT: As new CR approaches, there's new threads. A strong thread connects her and Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu. However, if Phoenix Wright enters the game, a firey orange thread will connect the two. She and Phoenix are not and never will be involved romantically, but this thread signifies a relationship strengthened by fire.
TAROT CARD; Like her japanese name, Mayoi, which is written with the kana for 'hesitation', Maya shows hesitation in most things she does despite a strong underlying power. A lack of belief in herself may cause trouble, but following instinct leads to the best results. Maya is the High Priestess (reversed).

TAROT CARD; There's a thirst for strength and for the chance to rightfully prove himself as a worthy successor to the Sanageyama name in his own right, and buried deep is a desire to see the world become a better, more righteous place. His card would be Strength (upright).

I'm fine with this working for both characters.
Nero: Nero's only significant bond is with his Nidorina, Blue Rose. He hasn't made a deep, meaningful connection with anyone else because he has difficulty actually caring about other people. His thread is dark red in color with the appearance of paracord.
Naoto Naoto only has her grandfather as a meaningful bond, and she has a shaky alignment with her Eevee, Valiant. Her thread is alternately yellow and dark purple like multi-colored yarn, with the same appearance.
TAROT CARD;
Nero: Chariot. Nero knows what he wants, and will do whatever he can (and then some) to get to it. Nozomi will be able to see that he has a set goal in mind, but no clear way to accomplish it despite having been on that path for years, frustrating him to no end.
Naoto: Fortune, duh, currently reversed. And yes hello you already used a Naoto Shirogane example! But for elaboration: Naoto has strong internal struggles, and a huge secret, both of which are a burden on "his" heart.

BONDS OF FATE; This is okay, though its actual use might be problematic considering some of who he's connected to. Apollo's tied to his grandfather and his Pokémon with a thick red thread that looks and shines like it's made of fire. Apollo's also tied to several unknown humans and Pokémon, as well as the Sailor Senshi, with a medium-thickness thread that's the dull glowing red of heated metal, though the thread to one of those unknown humans in particular is more a rope than a thread it's so thick. The second thread is easily missed behind the first if Nozomi isn't paying attention.
TAROT CARD; Kindness, passion, and a strong desire to connect to the natural world. A sense of great age that doesn't even remotely match his physical age and, with that, strong love, loyalty, and power in the distant past, again much farther in the past than should be possible for a 14-year-old. A persistent mental image of a Gallade for some reason.
His card would probably be The Lovers Reversed (his status as one half of a pair of star-crossed lovers) but could alternately be The Emperor Reversed (his putting emotion ahead of logic) but then again I'm always terrible at choosing an arcana for characters so if you find a better one let me know.

BONDS OF FATE; This would actually be helpful I think, so yes. Banzu's connected to his Klink with a somewhat thin sky blue thread. That's it, that's the only connection.
TAROT CARD; A strong dislike of rules and restrictions. A desire for freedom and internal conflict about grasping it. Fierce independence and a refusal to burden others. Guilt in relation to his parents.
His card is probably The Hermit Reversed (his refusal to form close connections with other people, a sort of self-imposed isolation).

He cares about things fiercely and tends to go overboard with something he feels passionate about. Essentially, he's a fiery redhead and fits the bill. He'd probably be the Reversed Emperor from what I'm reading.

BONDS OF FATE; It could work! Ruby is closest to his Pokemon and the people who work at the Union Theatre. His thread would be a very light red or pink, and parts of it have been severed.
TAROT CARD; Ruby is headstrong and passionate. He loves beauty and is extremely vain but he cares about simple things underneath. He's still a kid, so everything's still in development but maybe he'd be the Upright Star.

BONDS OF FATE; Go ahead! Rutee's not made many close companions save those she lived with at the orphanage so it's pretty barren. She does love her Pokemon though, and her thread would be gold.
TAROT CARD; Though happy and vibrant, Rutee is emotionally closed off to most people. She has a lot of hurt hiding beneath that smile! Still, she's generally happy and kind, but extremely greedy. Reversed Wheel of Fortune for her.

If it shows severed bonds or cut threads- then Eiji would have a number of those trailing him from the family he's cut ties with.
TAROT CARD; And intense desire to help others, friendly but detached and afraid to form close bonds with others. That he's not always as dumb as he acts, that he's hiding many details about himself, that he might be haunted by something, or that he carries a weight of something big on his shoulders. As far as arcana goes he makes a good Hanged Man or Death so I'll let you decide.

BONDS OF FATE; It will work! Minato has very few threads at this point in time, but his strongest bonds as of now are to his Litwick and his Murkrow. He'll form more bonds over time, and the threads will be very thick, reflecting his great loyalty. His threads are a deep, dark blue that looks almost black.
TAROT CARD; Minato is currently caught between his two sides due to being a Shifter and wants to reconcile them, but he's not sure how. He feels he lacks any particular long-term vision or purpose, which is also throwing him off-balance. I'd say his card is reversed Temperance.

BONDS OF FATE; I'm alright with this working, even if the character himself is too rational to really believe in any of it. His closest bonds at this point would be with his pokemon and Yuuna Sugasawa-- someone who has become something of a mentor to him in his recent endeavors in becoming a pokemon trainer. The thread itself is a vibrant purple.
TAROT CARD; Nozomi might be able to read the facts that Rei is a diligent and determined young man who works hard, is compassionate for those he cares about, and doesn't give up even when faced with repeated failures. Although he tries to make his decisions based on rationality and logic (and would likely be wary of superstitious things like reading cards), he's very emotionally driven-- to the point where he wears his emotions on his sleeve.
He also has a great fondness for beauty, and is able to see beauty in even the strangest of circumstances.
...As a player, I've not assigned Rei an arcana as I'm not well versed in this. Feel free to assign one if you deem it appropriate.

BONDS OF FATE; I'm alright with this working. His closest bonds are with his pokemon, Yakumo Tsukamoto (a friend who has a crush on him that he doesn't yet realize), and Usagi Tsukino (a classmate that he has a crush on). The color is black, though there may be some shades of red mixed in, and it is firm once it connects to something.
TAROT CARD; Nozomi might see some of the contrasts in Harima's general personality. While he is overtly still closer to the delinquent side of things, is rash, impulsive, and likely to throw a fist when he's pushed enough, he's also struggling to change himself because of his love for a girl in his class. He has a lot of uncertainty over this, and has a hard time trusting people to the point that he prefers the company of Pokemon over them.
He also doesn't realize that he's enlightened, and that talking to Pokemon isn't what everyone would call normal.
Similar to Rei, I've yet to assign an arcana to him. Feel free to do so if you feel something fits.

BONDS OF FATE; Besides her mysterious bond with the rest of Muse Kotori has a blossoming friendship with Rei Hino and Yakumo and a very close relationship with all her pokemon. Her thread is of a light green shade and feel free to poke her anytime, girl has no secrets.
TAROT CARD; The Star (upright). Kotori is an artistic girl full of inspiration and with no shyness about embracing her nature, being it as a shifter or just her interests. Her honest nature and optimism while lacking a strong sense of selfishness make this card proper in my opinion.

BONDS OF FATE; Rei has a strong, strong connection to the other Sailor Senshi and Eiji Hino, a bond that's probably almost blindingly strong, like family or something more. Other bonds would be to Jinxie, Maya, Asemu, and Norman. In addition, she has started forming ties with Honoka, Kotori, Maki, and Anhk. Her connection to Nozomi I'll leave up to you. Rei's bond with her Pokemon is strong, but the strongest bonds are to several Pokemon tied to her reincarnation. They're listed on her infopage.
The color of her threads is red, brilliantly so, with a gold edge to it.
TAROT CARD; Rei is very obviously of the upright Priestess Arcana. She's dedicated to her faith, and it's faith and companionship that drive her forward. She wants to help people, and she's somewhat set apart from the world (both by choice and by circumstance) because of her powers and focus on spirituality. She is also obviously tied to the moon, very beautiful, and regularly has visions.

BONDS OF FATE; Yuuna's strongest connections are to a small group of people she considers close friends. Rei Ryugazaki, Goku, Ami Mizuno, and her Pokemon. In particular: Hitmonchan, Politoed, Tyranitar, and Magnezone. Her other bonds are strong, but the way she feels about those four is something akin to family. She's also got bonds forming with Robin, Maya, Isabela, Nozomi herself, and Haruka. Finally, she has a possible romantic link to Merrill, though that's new and very tentative.
Her threads color is blue with a white outline,
TAROT CARD; Yuuna's Tarot Card is the upright Sun. She is a bright, vibrant, excitable, and very, very free young woman. She may have nightmares of failure, but she's overcome everything that's been thrown at her recently, and she's out to do her best. She has goals, and some of them have been completed, and she has people at her back who she trusts and trust her...and she has a great job doing what she loves. Basically everything (currently) is turning up Yuuna.

BONDS OF FATE; Yakumo's bonds are actually somewhat tentative save for one or two. She's got a strong romantic interest in Harima Kenji, and a friendship with Hanayo, but the only other one is to Kotori and that's newer. Her bonds with Pokemon, particularly the Espurr Iori are fairly strong.
Her threads are pink and sky blue laced together.
TAROT CARD; I unfortunately don't have much to say in the way of an Arcana for Yakumo. She is a kind, quiet girl who doesn't speak up for herself very often, and that's fairly obvious to anyone that meets her. She does, however, end up in all sorts of strange situations and does so without complaint. She's strong, resiliant, and understanding even if other's aren't. However, she is also incredibly lonely and seems to be less 'shy' and more unwilling to be around people because of some other reason.

BONDS OF FATE; It can work, though I would prefer to keep it on a case-by-case basis. Feel free to run ideas by me, though! Asemu's threads will be pure white. His strongest threads are connected to Rei Hino (close friend) and Rise (whom he likes as more than a friend), with thinner ones connected to Lux, Hiccup, Estelle, Lenna, and Yuuna.
TAROT CARD; Asemu has a thirst to prove himself, as well as a powerful desire to protect. He holds himself to a high standard when it comes to work, but isn't quite as sure of himself in social situations. However, if he does not want to be read, it won't work -- Asemu has the ability to block psychic powers from reading him. His arcana is The Star.

BONDS OF FATE; It works! Her bond is a light green with a light sparkle to it. Besides the mysterious bonds of Muse forming, there is a very strong thread between her and Hanayo that stands out greatly. Other threads seem to branch out to her Pokémon.
TAROT CARD; While Rin is generally a good person, mind and heart either conflict with her or don't balance at all. She's confident when it's not about herself, but deep down, her lack of self-esteem still struggles with her and she hides her personal problems as much as possible. She rather put focus on other things and other people rather than herself. Her arcana is The Sun (Reversed)

BONDS OF FATE; Usagi thread of fate is a silver, almost pearl white color. It's able to reflect any color that it runs along but in the stronger bonds, her thread can wrap around them, almost as if its enhancing the color and making it more vivid. Those specific people that this happens to (as of right now) are Haruka Tenoh, Michiru Kaioh, Hotaru Tomoe, Rei Hino, Ami Mizuno, and Minako Aino because of their ties to their past lives. This will be changing as the game progresses, more of her cast mates show up, all the CR makes. I'll mention it if it comes to that though?
